In collaboration with an audio research company, DNM Design, Supertech Electronic specializes in producing audio cap-slit foil capacitors, which have been produced specifically for audio applications. They are a patented design that eliminates circulating currents in the aluminum foils. The spurious current flow on the capacitor plates is known to occur, but is not apparent in most applications.
